On the Hanoi – Ngọc Chiến – Nặm Ngẹp journey, discover Thai cuisine including Pa Mọ, fried stream fish, smoked pork and Pa Pỉnh Tộp fish grilled with mắc khén. Each dish reflects the flavours of the northwest and the culture and daily life of the Thai people. This blossom-season journey takes place in March–April each year.

Mountain walks (2–3 hours), salmon catching, foraging, costume hire, photography, hot-spring bathing and Then singing require advance cost confirmation. Cloud watching with an overnight hut stay on Tà Chì Nhù is arranged separately with the guide and may change the itinerary.
Blossoms are usually at their best from late March to mid-April, depending on the year's weather.
Sơn Tra, also known as táo mèo, is usually in full bloom from late March to mid-April. White flowers cover the mountainsides. Explore the village, photograph the blossoms and visit the flower festival when dates coincide. Costume hire and photography can be arranged at your own expense.
The mineral hot springs are a natural gift to Ngọc Chiến. Bathing in the springs has long been part of local Thai culture. The clear water stays warm throughout the year, offering a peaceful experience among the northwestern mountains.
Pú Dảnh waterfall lies within the forests of Ngọc Chiến. White water flows over several layers of rock, like a ribbon across the mountains. The falls are surrounded by unspoilt scenery and the rich vegetation of the northwestern highlands.
